WR®600
SUPERIOR CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITY WITH EXTENDED DRY RUN CAPABILITIESELIGIOUS
THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE
Small Running Title WR®600 is a carbon-fiber-reinforced, compression-molded thermoplastic composite with a temperature range up to 500°F (260°C). Exceptional chemical compatibility means WR600 can withstand extremely aggressive media such as hydrofluoric acid and benzene. In addition, its non-seizing, non-galling properties allow for extended periods of dry run. This material features excellent impact and thermal shock resistance, tolerating rapid startup or shutdown without the risk of fracture. And WR600 components run tighter clearances than traditional metallic materials, reducing recirculation and improving efficiency. The result is substantial energy savings, extended service life, and improved MTBR (Mean Time Between Repair).Greene, Tweed’s engineers provide expert assistance in determining the best material and design for each application. With comprehensive, in-house machining centers, Greene, Tweed offers custom, finished WR600 parts as well as a limited number of stock shapes. WR600 is API 610 approved for stationary wear applications.
