We have specialized in the design and manufacturing of metal seals since the dawn of the space age – Saturn, Apollo, Space Shuttle, Delta II & IV and J2X.

We design and manufacture from any machinable material.  The choice is usually due to compatibility with system fluids and temperatures.

The Ultratech seal performs in extremely corrosive and radioactive environments. Offered in custom or standard sizes the Ultratech seal is suitable for high or low pressure liquid sealing.

Commonly Used Materials:

Inconel 718

  • High-strength, age hardenable, nickel-chrome

  • Exelllent corrosion resistance

  • Excellent tensile, fatigue, and stress rupture pressures

Incoloy 909

  • Hardenable nickel, iron, & cobalt alloy

  • Low & constant modulus of elasticity, for high compression at low loads

  • Use where decreased corrosion resistance compared to 718 is allowable
